Smiling in Indy. Hermann FFA chapter had the opportunity to attend the 92nd National FFA Convention and Expo on Oct. 30th and 31st. The Chapter took 24 students from Hermann and 24 students from Warrenton High School FFA. While in Indianapolis, the students went to a rodeo, concert, and attended sessions with schools from across the United States, and visited Fair Oaks farms. “This year was my second year attending the National FFA Convention, and I had a blast this year! When we went to the session on Thursday morning, I could feel all of the energy in the room! It’s truly amazing to be in the same place as 70,000 other individuals. From the state of Alaska to Puerto Rico and from the State of Maine to Hawaii, everyone has the same passion and reason to be there and they each strive to better agriculture in our wonderful country today and our futures to come,” said Emma Starke (10).
