Food Drive Friday. On the morning of the last day of the school’s food drive, Oct. 4th, students Brendan Pohlmann (11) and Tyler Hartman (11) work their volunteered shifts for NHS. “I landed a shift working the food drive because I’m in honor society. I signed up because I thought it would be a good opportunity to get some service points and help out. I feel it’s very important the food drive is successful because the more food and items and money we get, the more we can help out the less fortunate. Also it makes us feel good to help out as much as we can. Lastly, I think school fundraisers are good to collect goods because most times it gives people a reason to help out. For example, like whoever raises the most money gets an ice cream party. It gives them a reason to give and they also are helping out a good cause too,” said Pohlmann.” Photo Credit: Dylan Wright.
